One of my favorite scenes in the entire series. For somehow making me laugh and get teary eyed all at once.

Galaxia is trying to steal Usagi’ star seed and the senshi are in MAXIMUM PROTECT PRINCESS MODE, so they give present her safety kit. THIS FUCKING KIT. Complete with gas mask, club, a TASER, protection charm, some deathly the fuck looking spray, and a whistle. I can’t even. Plus I love how it’s all just casually laid out on the desk because that stuff is totally okay to bring to school, yep.

So the pink whistle looks out of place to Usagi, so she’s just like “okay, l’ll blow this and see what happens”. The others start freaking out at this point like “NOOOOOOOO”.

Suddenly the earth starts shaking and you see something speeding across the city, and a second later the classroom door whips open and Rei is standing there, panting like crazy.

“You rang?”.

And I’m dead.

How much do I love that Usagi takes Taiki being a present for the little girl so seriously that she literally puts a bow on him? And then looking at him like “why would you even ask that?” when he wants to take it off. Oh my laffs.

I do not ship them as a pairing, mutual love etc, but I like to think Taiki had a crush on Usagi for some times. In episode 179, Taiki seems to care more for Usagi than for Mako - IMO. She was the first one to make him/her laugh and it was pretty clear (s)he saw her as someone special before knowing she was Sailor Moon.

And there’s this line in Taiki’s single :

I understand, Sailor Moon. I’ve realized that, Tsukino-san. You made me laugh. I was able to laugh again… There is only one enemy we are after! It may not be much, but may I lend you my strength as well?

The way Taiki says Usagi’s name here is really soft, like (s)he was smiling while saying it.

Well tl;dr you’re not the only one !

Did anyone else hate this form?

The only thing I really hate on it is the weird round pink ‘sleeves’. I always thought this outfit would be much prettier without those, they seem so out of place. With these long gloves, no ‘sleeves’ at all would have been a better choice.
Not a fan of the over-sized earrings too, but they’re not horrible like these pink bubbles.
